Dunn’s River Ackees

Jamaica’s national dish is ackee and salt fish (dried, salted cod). It is popular at breakfast, lunch or dinner with different combinations of fried dumplings (as shown on the product label), produce or rice, depending on the meal. Ackee quiche is a popular cocktail dish. There are also vegetarian variations of serving it. When cooked, ackees have the texture and appearance of scrambled eggs.
